I hope these were able to strike a chord with someone. After all, that is the point of quotes: to pluck at someone’s heartstrings in a way that produces a meaningful harmony.

Sure! The first one relates to how living life with an open-mind and filling your life with acceptance, tolerance, and new adventures makes your life more insightful and deliberate. The second quote relates to how the mind, just like the heart, can trick you and make you believe things that are not exactly true. The mind and the heart are not as different as one might think.
